Candy is a lot of people's favorite thing to eat! But it is not always an easy process of*getting it off of your clothes if it accidentally falls onto your clothing. Candy stains can mostly be removed by having a pre-soak and wash in warm water. Follow the simple steps below to get that candy out of your clothes.

First scrape off as much candy as you can with a knife or other non sharp object. Then, mix one teaspoon of a mild detergent with a cup of lukewarm water. A mild detergent is a non alkaline and non bleaching detergent. Blot the stain so the detergent and water soak into the stain. Next, mix one cup of household vinegar with two-thirds cup of water. Blot the stain again. Go back to the first step where you used the mild detergent with lukewarm water and blot the spot again using this mixed solution.

After you have completed those steps, sponge the stain with clean water so you will remove all the mixtures that were on the stain. According to the directions on the shirt, wash the shirt in the washing machine. If the stain remains after the washing machine, do not put it in the dryer! Putting in the dryer will cause the stain to remain. After the washing machine, repeat the above steps to completely remove the stain if it still was there. Then, run through the washing machine again to make sure the stain removes. After you follow those easy steps, your stain will instantly disappear!
